biography

Blagovest Dimitrov is a graphic designer with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He has more than 10 years experience in design, branding and UI/UX. Blagovest is a New Bulgarian University graduate with bachelor degree in Design.

Blagovest is a co-founder of the Bulgarian tech company MClimate, where he has the role of Chief Design Officer. He is responsible for building the MClimate brand, product design and its perfect visual distribution across all media channels.

- In 2013 his project DareU wins the special award of the audience in the UniCredit Innovative Mobile Application Contest.

- In 2014 Blagovest wins the Vivacom App Contest with his project “Questionary” who aims at changing the way children learn.

- In 2017 in cooperation with Angel Petkov, Blagovest designs the futuristic conceptual project “Instaglasses”. The concept has been featured by Behance as one of the most promising product designs of the year.

- At the end of 2017, together with his business partner Lyubomir Yanchev, Blagovest participates as a guest speaker at TedX Pazardzhik

- At the end of 2017, Blagovest was selected as the laureate of the 2017 edition of the New Europe 100 - a list of outstanding innovators in Central and Eastern Europe by Google, Financial Times & Respublica

- 2019 - Forbes 30under30 Bulgaria

Blagovest Dimitrov was born a perfectionist. His detail-oriented personality is mostly reflected by the MClimate brand appearance which is entirely designed by him. 
Blagovest is a firm believer that the bright future of home and open spaces development is totally dependent upon the implementation of smart technologies. His passion for creating varieties of conceptual tech projects is what motivates him of becoming better every single day.
